our love story

Pieter and Alli have slightly different stories about how they met (fitting for their relationship). Pieter maintains that they met out with friends and Alli immediately caught his attention by correcting him on factual inaccuracies on a historical statement. She has held that attention ever since. Alli’s recollection of their meeting was at a bonfire a few weeks later when Pieter launched into an explanation of the political ramifications of a statement someone was making. While, admittedly, Pieter likely IS correct on the FIRST meeting (he gets this one), the two were both drawn to each other’s wit first! A relationship finally grew from a strong a friendship. But they love one another for the same reasons that they initially intrigued each other; they challenge, engage, and inspire each other daily.
